They say when in doubt, wear black.  Black (or neutral tones) is my “go-to” when I’m not really sure or don’t have the time to put an outfit together.  This is often the case.  As much as I enjoy exploring trends and dressing up, I am often left with 10min to get ready and I am pretty bad at planning an outfit ahead of time.  I’ve tried it and it hardly ever works for me.

What’s great about the pop of colour trend is that it adds an interesting touch to a basic look with minimal effort.  It’s simple, stylish and easy!  Just add a bright colour shoe, earring, hat or coat to your neutral look.  It can be jeans with a white shirt or plain black top and bottom, like I did.  All you need is 1 item of colour that “pops”.

The heels are from our current range and can be found here: Cherre heels by Kitibella  The yellow coat by Zara.  Belt – YDE.  The skirt and blouse are old closet favourites but I saw this skirt/belt combo at MRP that you may want to check out.

Much love and have fun colour popping 😉

Till next time
